Puzzle platformers have come a long way. Long progressed from the mere idea of just jumping they now screw with the fundamentals of physics; time and space. Closure – a contender in this years IGF – messes around with light in a way that completely obliterates my conception of space. That is to say it’s hard. What have I become?

I’ve got a hat. It gives me +5 in sneak and +1 to my perception. My glasses don’t do anything in particular except help reassure that I’m clever. My recon armor also gives me +5 sneak but doesn’t really ‘go’ with the rest of my outfit. I look stupid. I hate that. Society sees me as an Evil ‘urban invader’. I suppose thats more accepted than my previous vocation – a very evil ‘Wasteland pirate’ but I don’t like being branded as a ‘invader’…pirates are much more fun. Maybe I didn’t focus enough on being a pirate. Not once did…
