What sort of freedom do you crave in games, and why?

A while back, Erland Grefsrud openly asked the above to twitter, and I think it’s a really interesting question. Games of 2012 – Lam

I’m cheap. Tighter than two coats of paint. I resent paying full price for a computer game: I wait for the sales unless there’s a pre-order deal that accommodates my parsimony and caution. This means that I frequently play major releases late in the year, or not at all.
