This was brought up in the comments of Paul’s Bloodbowl post the other day, so I’m going to go ahead and make it official.
We’re going to try and put together a Gaming Daily Bloodbowl league or cup, depending on the number of players, myself and Ed have already put our hats in the ring, if you read GD and play Blood Bowl, please sign up below. When we figure out how many interested parties there are we’ll decide the format of the competition, unless you actually write for us you won’t have to keep track of your games, but we’ll be writing reports ourselves.
We’ll probably be starting new or fairly new teams for this, something in the 1,000,000-1,200,000 range, so as to not penalise those of us who don’t have a decent team (ie me) but feel free to get a friendly or two in in advance. It’d also be helpful if you can indicate what team you’re likely to use, it doesn’t have to be set in stone, but I like variety.
Lastly, sign up! Seriously it might get frustrating, but if you don’t take things too seriously then you’ll enjoy it. None of us are any good either, so don’t worry even if you’ve never even played before
