*spoilers*
Monday
This damn camp is freezing, at least the Alienage was warm on occasion. I suppose there is less murder, rape and oppression here, but still, it’s cold. Alistair was whining again today that the armor I keep giving him doesn’t match and he looks like a ‘tool’. I just agreed and laughed at him but explained that this is the best I can supply at the minute. We got talking about his time in the Chantry before he became a Grey Warden – then he starts telling me about the underbelly of the Templars and my mind starts to wander; he can be a boring fucker sometimes and I can’t get Morrigan out of my head. Off to Denerim tomorrow to tie up a few loose ends, best go get some supplies sorted.

Tuesday
A few loose ends turned into the slaughter of a mob. Don’t people get it? I’m a Grey Warden, I have two swords on my back – one of which emits fire and the other lightning – I’m accompanied by witch who can turn into a bear, another grey warden with a flaming axe, and to top it a giant fucking rock monster. Who in their right mind would rather attack me than just do what I tell them? Word must get around surely? That I’ve brutally killed everyone who has ever raised a blade to me is no secret. Ah well – merciless killing and looting corpses must be part and parcel of this Grey Warden thing. Gave Morrigan a load of presents earlier too, she’s loving the attention.

Wednesday
Yes! I am the Elf! Morrigan asked me to find some book for her in The Mages Circle so we went and after a bit of traipsing around we found it in some old chest. She asked me what I wanted as a reward and I just thought ‘come on, go for it’ and got a kiss. It was amazing, and looks like we might become an item after all. I think Alistair’s jealous – don’t know if he wants me or Morrigan though. Not 100% sure what goes on with those Trainee Templars, it is practically an all boys club after all. Plus he keeps harping on about Duncan – wonder what was going on there.
Thursday
Odd night last night and today. Morrigan asked me to kill her mother – Flemeth (what a horrible name). Man, I did not want in-law issues already, especially with what happened. Turns out, rather than just being a little old mage, Flemeth can change shape into a giant red fire-breathing dragon. Yeah, nice one Morrigan for not mentioning that little factoid and Shale was not impressed when I told him to tank it. We won out anyway and Morrigan was very happy, plus she got some new clothes. Things are really on the up with her now, and in fact I think we are about to move on to the ‘next step’. Ooh yeah. I’m gonna go have a ‘chat’ with her now.

Friday
What a night last night was. Firelight, deep music inexplicably coming from somewhere, and then me and Miorrigan went the whole way. What was a bit weird now I think about it though was that Morrigan said we had to keep our underwear on the whole time. Maybe she’s self conscious, or has a weird scar, or something. Don’t know. Could have been something to do that we did it outside while everyone in the camp was still around. It was good though, and as long as the wife back home never finds out it should be all fine. Morrigan was a bit weird afterwards, said she feels strange.
Saturday
Got a new sword today. Killed a load of people. Felt nothing. My hearts just not in it. Morrigan dropped the bombshell that she thinks we should split up ‘for our own good’ even though she basically admitted she’s in love with me. Confusing bitch, if I didn’t need a healer that could also transform into angry wasps so bad I’d so kick her out right now. Oh who am I kidding, I couldn’t let her go. I convinced her that we should stay together than wandered off and sulked. She’s also refusing to sleep with me now, might try my luck with Leilana – an Elf has needs you know.

Sunday
Leilana doesn’t seem that interested. Instead of getting together with me she just burst into song yesterday and made everyone in the camp stare into the mid-distance. Been feeling pretty bitter towards Morrigan for knocking me back all day, made her make 300 health poultices earlier – I don’t even need them. Might go and try again, just hope Leilana hasn’t told her that I was trying it on. Failing it all I’m going to convince Morrigan she has to sleep with Shale to get rid of the blight, that’ll teach her. Also, asked Alistair if he was gay; he said no.

Pretty awesome! Also, you might wanna just change that to “spoilers”. Early-game spoilers is confined to stuff in an origin story or at Ostagar, surely? I certainly didn’t know Flemeth was a dragon.
Oh, sorry chap. Yeah I’ll change it, it is still early game but time references like that get contorted a bit I suppose when you think how big a game it is. As in, ‘I did that 40 hours ago…’
I loved this well written article and great website. Very informative. Keep up the good work!
