Craig, I too hate motion controls. I play snes, gba, gamecube, and n64 games only. I like pressing buttons to control games, not flailing aroung looking like a fool with no control over my body. Nintendo seriously needs to cut production of the wii, then go back to its roots and re release the old consoles, along with the classic best selling games.

Seriously, lightgun games are fun, but the only half decent action games seem to be of this variety, and much of the ‘motion’ appears to be at the cost of precision – you can get much, much more control out of a standard videogame controller. The worst part is probably that it you get tired, because you have to hold your arms out and flail your hands around, which totally kills immersion. At least in a holodeck it’d be worth the experience because it’d be more of a fantasy simulator.

Fuck this stupid motion gaming fad, and fuck the imprecise, sloppy control schemes it’s brought.

Your gonna be all over this when a Lightsaber sim shows up! But I know what your saying I bought motion plus, while it now has 1:1 tracking or whatever Nintendo want to call it, it still doesnt hold my interest for more than an hour tops….another wasted £30 sigh.
