I’m scared of the sea, it’s up there in my big long list of fears along with heights and creatures with more than four legs. I can just about manage paddling off the English coast in mid-summer, but apart from that it’s a no-go-area. Have you seen the things in the sea? They are HUGE and have massive teeth. Sharks are the most terrifying thing ever, in the history of terrifying things that people have to deal with (even when you get all philosophical about it and start going on about petty little things like war and famine). Did you know sharks can leap out of the water and pull planes out of the sky? Well the can, and they seem to have a jolly good time while doing it.

Not a lot of people know about the daily life of a shark, so someone made an edu-game in flash about a shark on the Miami Coast. It’s pretty much a sim, seeing you sink boats by jumping on them, chomp dolphins, and pull planes out of the sky. It’s taught me two things: 1. the shark in jaws was a big fuss over nothing 2. Being a shark is an immense amount of fun, especially when on-line high score tables are involved. It’s embedded just here anyway…
