That's drama I never experienced though, great moments that you had and I didn't, and is the very reason that keeps me playing.
I remember in medieval 2 when despite owning a good part of Europe, Poland refused to budge. No matter what I threw at their Walls, they stayed tall. Until one fatefull battle in which a lone shot from a ribault( I believe that's the siege engines name) flew over the wall and took his general off his horse. To this day it remains as one of my most memorable moments in gaming, as that one shot ended the war and allowed me to continue my advance towards the Mongolian hordes in the east.
What other game gives you moments like that?

Merry Christmas right back atcha!

Good skills holding Moose Factory. I've played way ahead of the bit I've written up here, and there is a hell of a lot of drama involving Rupert's Land and Moose Factory to come. If I had managed to hold it initially it would have saved so much trouble!

Always love to read a good playthrough, and with a game with the scale of a total war game it's amazing how different two players experiences can be. Personnaly, I won when moose factory was attacked which allowed me to expand southwards, obviously my entire game changed as a result with my eventual conquering of the American west. Will be good to see how this turns out.

And with that, hope everyone on the gaming daily team had a great Christmas!
